About Stacy Wolfe
Stacy Wolfe’s breast cancer journey began in 2019 and became the foundation of a legacy of faith, compassion, and generosity. Guided by her steadfast trust in God, Stacy turned her personal battle into a mission to help others through the creation of the Stacy Wolfe Breast Cancer Foundation. Her life was defined by joy, positivity, and deep care for others—qualities that continue to shape the foundation’s work today.

At the beginning of her journey, a friend shared Psalm 112:7 with her: “They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the Lord to care for them.” Stacy and her family clung to these words through the darkest season of their lives. Surrounded by the love and care of friends and family, they knew they wanted to one day extend that same compassion to others.

Stacy's Journey
2019
On October 7, 2019, Stacy was diagnosed with breast cancer. Genetic testing revealed she carried the CHEK2 mutation, leading her to undergo a radical mastectomy. Following surgery, doctors discovered the cancer had spread to her lymph nodes, and she underwent an additional procedure to remove them three weeks later. After twelve weeks of chemotherapy and 33 radiation treatments, Stacy finally heard the words she had prayed for: “We do not detect cancer in your body.” God had answered the prayers of her family and friends!

Stacy learned that her breast cancer had returned and metastasized to her lungs and bones. She began oral chemotherapy and consulted with MD Anderson to confirm her treatment plan. It was during this time that her desire to help others on their own cancer journeys grew stronger and began to take shape.

Through a CT scan, Stacy learned that her cancer was growing and treatments had to change. She underwent chemo treatments every 3 weeks to attack the cancer.
June 2023
Stacy’s cancer had spread to her brain, and she began brain radiation. She fought courageously for several months with new chemotherapy and treatments.
